Exploring Olde Naples... via Skateboard?

Enjoy some images captured VIA SKATEBOARD of our beautiful city.

Today I left my Rolls Royce in the garage and opted to explore the prestige area of Olde Naples and Fifth Avenue South via Skateboard... just kidding I don't have a Rolls Royce. I had just received a new 30mm lens for my camera and wanted to test it out, what better place than Downtown Naples area that has it all... dining, entertainment, parks, the pier and beach.

Well I didn't skateboard to Olde Naples...

Naples Noir | Black + White

Enjoy some images captured in black and white of our beautiful city.

"It's important to find beauty in what you have. Even if it's not perfect..."

Not all days can be rainbows and sunshine... so on this gloomy day in Naples, I decided to practice what I preach and try to find beauty in the gloom. My wife, son and I visited Venetian Village in the Park Shore neighborhood of Naples. (A neighborhood we love and plan to retire in... until then, they let me visit as long as I behave.) 

I set my camera to a Black and White and couldn't believe how beautiful everything looked in the high contrast setting... sunshine and clear blue skies became irrelevant and the city itself came to life.
