OH KALEA.


I visited Kalea Bay today and have fallen completely in love with the development. Every aspect of Kalea Bay is impressive... The Amenities, the Actual Units, the Views, the Rooftop Terrace, the Staff and the Residents. I arrived during a special timeframe, Tower One was just recently completed and many residents were moving in. Felt like there was a lot of excitement in the air. I visited the clubhouse and there were residents out by the pool with their kids/grandkids, other residents at the poolside bar and others having lunch from the Clubhouse Cafe. I was given a tour by the sales staff assistant, Christina... she was very down to earth and informative. Let's go over a few things I learned and found note worthy!


The Views

We have to start with the views! I visited 3 different floors during my visit. The 4th floor, where the models are located... the view from the 4th floor is cozy in the sense that you have a view of greenery with the ocean in the distance. From the 21st Floor the view is incredible however, being on the 21st Floor adds about $1M to the price tag even though all of the units in the tower are essentially the same size (The higher the floor and if it's an end unit determines the price). The best view is available to all residents from the Rooftop Terrace.... an incredible 180 degree view of clear blue skies that seem to blend into the Gulf. The MODELS

The models are designed by some of the top interior designers so it really isn't a good representation of what you would be receiving if you decided to move forward with Kalea Bay. However, it is a good representation of what is possible... the Units come with "Standard Finishes" but, truth is there is nothing standard about the finishes. The units come with gorgeous flooring, granite counters throughout, quality stainless steel appliances, tile in the very large terrace. A couple other features of note are Linear Air Conditioning Vents and a Large Owners Storage Closet. Each Unit has a split floorpan design with a Large Master Bedroom on the Gulf Side and 3 other bedrooms on the opposite side of the unit. AMENITIES CENTER

Let's start with the building itself, each unit comes with Two Parking Spaces, a large Owner's Storage Closet and Guest Parking near the entrance. The building has an incredible and secure lobby... it is actually staged like an Art Gallery featuring local images.

The Rooftop Terrace, (as you saw from the video) has amazing views. Aside from that, the breeze is very relaxing, there is a Large Pool to cool down in, Four BBQ Grills for the perfect lunch or sunset dinner, Outdoor Fitness Center overlooking the Gulf, and a Shaded Lounge Area with a Catering Kitchen which is perfect for get togethers with family and friends.

The Clubhouse offers so much, I'll try to not leave anything out...
There are a total of 3 pools. A main pool which is largest and centered within the Amenities Center, A Kid's Pool with Kid Size Lounge Chairs and Fountains, and finally a 18 and Over pool near the bar and dining.

There really is something for everyone here... The Amenities Center has an additional and air conditioned Fitness Center. A Children's play room with TVs, a sitting area with tables and activities. A Lounge for teenagers that includes TVs and Video Gaming Consoles.

The Amenities Center also has a Cafe that serves breakfast and Lunch seven days a week, an Outdoor Poolside Bar and a Fine Dining Restaurant. The restaurant is gorgeous, I had a chance to meet the chef and I'm told the food is incredible. There is also a banquet hall attached to the restaurant and separate dining areas for private parties.

Throughout the Amenities Center and Community there are Citrus Trees that bare fruit for residents to pick from... pretty cool right?  There are also 2 Fire Pits for night time gatherings that look over the expansive lake and fountain. Across from the Amenities Center, are two tennis courts and Cabanas that can be rented on a nightly basis if you have family visit and want  them to have their own private space. Most people do not know this but, Kalea Bay was built by the same developers that built the Moraya Bay Towers... with that said, the two communities have an agreement where Moraya Bay allows residents of Kalea Bay beach access to Delnor Wiggins State Park Beach (Top Rated Beach in Naples and even in the US.). Other Important INFOrmation

Dog Friendly Community! Kalea Bay allows up to three dogs with No Weight Limit.

Availability:
In January, Kalea Bay closed on 79 Units... there is only one Move in Ready Unit left in Tower One. It happens to be right next door to the Model I visited. So the video of the unit and the view shown above is a good reference to the available unit.

There are also some resale units available in Tower One. However, they are a bit pricier and resale units have a transfer fee of $25,000.

Tower Two had just now begun construction and will not be ready until 2020. The prices have also increased in Tower Two due to the success and popularity of Tower One.

Below is a chart showcasing what is available and unit pricing. In Tower One, the only available unit is highlighted in yellow being offered at $1,450,000. If you notice on Tower Two, you can see that lower level units are priced higher than the Fourth Floor available Unit of Tower One.
